This is how they started!

Here is how they came.
 
In the beginning it was simple…
Hygnus and Kaitwo stars with opposing forces that maintained the Kob Universe. Each world in the universe lived its own life, ignoring the others and benefiting from the energy of Hygnus and Kai.
The Kob Universe was divided.
But this was about to change…
A fleet of spacecraft emerged from the Enigma Zone, a nearby world whose star had extinguished. The invaders were from Zantor, and their aim was to steal energy from Hygnus and Kai. The violent attack took the Kob Universe by surprise. Their history as independent worlds with no interest in the well-being of each other made it impossible to form an alliance against Zantor. Each world fought but they could not succeed alone. The result was a disaster for everyone.

Hygnus and Kai left their orbits.
The opposing energies attracted each other, causing the two stars to fuse together. The result was a new planet-star which would become known as Arex. The Zantor withdrew and the inhabitants of the Kob Universe were left with no source of energy. Without energy, each world suffered great ecological disasters that began destroying their cities and their way of life.
The world leaders realised they had to work togethertowards a solution. They knew that their past behaviour had caused this disaster. They created the ‘Council of Wisdom’, an organisation made up of representatives from all the major cities throughout the galaxy. They met in a huge spaceship.
The first and most important decision was to work out how they could unlock the energy that had remained buried under the surface of Arex. How could they share it out fairly? This energy source was critical if they were going to able to successfully rebuild their worlds.
While the wise ones considered how they would share resources amongst themselves, a team of miners from each world travelled to Arex to start the extraction process. They quickly realised that the new energy source was very different. When they tried to apply it to any materials, the material either jumped or shot forwards.
In their spare time, the miners experimented with this reaction and devised a game, which they called “Kobot”. They would chargean aerosliding base with energy, climb onto it, and then press an energy conducting device called a ‘Krator’ against the base. The result was amazing! The players flew away at incredible speed. Their objective was to aim at the mine entrance which they called “Kobotron”. Whoever landed at the top got five points and whoever hit beneath it, got one point.
This popular game soon spread throughout the universe. It was amazing to see all the worlds united peacefully for a competition. ‘The Council of Wisdom’ realised that ‘Kobot’ was the solution they were looking for. They would organise an official competitionand the winner would claim the right to mine the energy for one year.
This is when the ‘Council of Wisdom’ became the ‘Kobots Federation’.
Before long, stadiums had been built and special ‘Krators’ and ‘aerosliders’ designed. Official teams headed up by Team Leaderswere formed and each world created its own leagues to discover the very best team and the one that would represent it in the ‘Kobots Federation’.
Kobot’ was followed by the whole of the Kob Universe, and the winning team won fame and honours that practically made them immortal. They represented victory and the opportunity to rebuild their civilisations. But, above all, they were the symbol of how the Universe had united to overcome the terrible effects of the Zantor invasion.
Kobots is much more than just a sport!
